THE AUTHOR

Mandy S. Hurley was raised in North Carolina, where she grew up as a typical Southern girl. After marrying her husband, they embarked on a journey filled with both joy and sorrow—facing infertility, experiencing pregnancy loss, adoption and foster care placements and disruptions. Through each experience, Mandy leaned on her Christian faith and felt called to encourage others walking a similar path. Her writing reflects the trials and triumphs of parenting children from hard places, and she seeks to be a voice of comfort and truth in the adoptive and foster care community.
